I have a beautiful new layout for this coming Thursday.
I used more indigo skies papers and finished this layout off beautifully with lots of flowers from my stash.
This is not a kit / only a scrap-your-stash layout.
Cost of class: R80 ... this includes notes.

Reason for me not being at the shop:
I have to fly to JHB on this week-end with my daughter who is dancing in the finals of DSTV DANS IN JOU TAAL competition.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this change in the class schedule.
Thursday, 31 Aug: "play-date"....stamping & colouring / informal class

For this class I will prepare stamped images on watercolour paper and have those available in class for purchase. You will bring along your inks and paints and we will have a lovely relaxing morning painting and playing....

It is an understatement (of note) to say that this blog got left behind....blush!
I will just jump into MARCH 2017...where this new year will begin (after a long and frustrating stock take.....- soooo not my thing...)...and we'll get busy with the exciting and more creative stuff....(smile)...

Just a reminder:
Scrap-your-stash classes: For this class you bring along your own tools and cutting mat. You bring along papers and embellishments from your stash and "copy" one of my layouts in class. Some might have notes, some not.... The examples are available in class to see.
Cost: R80 / this also includes tea/coffee and a sweet snack.
Kit Class: For this class you bring along your own tools and cutting mat. All items to complete a double page layout will be provided in class. A kit always come with full instructions & a full colour picture of the layout.
Cost: The price of the kit. It also includes tea/coffee and a sweet snack.
Remember to book a seat in class (for catering purposes).
I have ordered exciting new papers for kits and new scrap-your-stash classes and cannot wait to start working with the gorgeous new products.

JUNE 2016 @ SCRAP-IT DESIGN STUDIO
June was a very busy month and we have enjoyed lots of awesome and fun classes. Thank you ladies, for being such awesome friends and thank you for spreading the love and appreciating your scrapping friends the way you do...... It is heartwarming to see that people still care.....
All the classes for June ended today, as I will be taking a short break with my family for the winter holiday. The shop will re-open on 11 July and classes will start on 14 July....so there is time before the very busy 3rd term starts to fit in a class or two....;-)
We did a lovely mini album class with beautiful FABSCRAPS papers, using gesso and distress inks to colour the cover. Just about all the ladies finished their mini albums in class....and just had to add the photos at home...:-D. Good preparation pay off....LOL!
We scrapped a beautiful layouts this month with Celebr8's awesome Protea (Picture Perfect) range.....and I will soon have another layout ready with the left-over papers from this class. This was a scrap-your-stash class.
We even had time to fit in another two kits.....
This kit was made up with the Carta Bella Old World Travel Paper Collection.....and what beautiful papers these are...... This kit had an add-on set of notes to complete another double page layout.....
The last kit for June was the SCHOOL layout with the beautiful AUTHENTIQUE papers...I still have a few of these kits available...limited stock.
To all my clients....thank you for a wonderful JUNE. I hope all the school reports will only carry good news......and that those that are leaving on holiday over the next few days will travel safely. See you in July....xx

FEBRUARY 2016 AT SCRAP-IT DESIGN STUDIO
Oh my.... I haven't blogged for a while....just to recap the last 3 months...
at the end of November I attended the CHRISTMAS IN THE HOME EXPO at the Boardwalk in Port Elizabeth. This is a four day expo and it was busy busy busy.....herewith a few pics of this event:
Thank you for all your support to make this expo such a success.
After Christmas in the Home I closed the shop for the December school holidays and took a rest until 7 January 2016 when I re-opened for the new year. Both my children had birthdays in January and my husband completed the half-ironman in East London. My daughter also started high school...definitely a scrap-worthy month :-D
What a wonderfully busy month January 2016 has been at SCRAP-IT DESIGN STUDIO.
Hope all the mom's settled nicely into the new school routines.... and will find some awesome "me time" to attend some scrapbooking classes in February....
